What would the Walldorf Rock 'n' Roll Weekender be without the old road cruisers and hot rods?
On Whit Monday, the eighth Rust'n'Chrome Car Show will take place, this year at the Astoria Hall (follow the signs).
The classic car show is the meeting place for all lovers of chrome, tailfins and roaring V8 engines. There are two display areas: Pre 1965 and Pre 1976, all models and makes are welcome.
As a musical treat, live from the USA "Picky Out The Stingers" will provide their authentic original sound from about 11 am and DJ Rockin' Rumble Heiko from the Turntable.
In addition to the car show, sweet and savory snacks will be available.
Pre-registration is possible until 01.06.2025.
If you have registered, we will reserve a parking space for you to enter by 09.30 a.m. on Whit Monday.
Spreading ‘Twang’ since 2014
Old road cruisers and rock'n'roll simply belong together. That's why our Rust'n'Chrome is an absolute highlight at the Walldorf Weekender.
Once again this year, the Rust'n'Chrome will take place on Whit Monday on the grounds right next to the Astoria Hall and the AQWA Bäderpark.
As a musical treat, the Don Diego Trio from Italy will provide the perfect sound for this special motoring event with their hard-hitting mix of classic rockabilly and early 60s highway trucker twang a la Junior Brown.
Rockin' Rumble Heiko rounds off the versatile Walldorf record hop mix. With Classic Rock'n'Roll & New Classics Heiko makes the dolls dance, whether jiver, stroller or bopper. Heiko is a real crowdpleaser, whether on stage as the singer of the Foggy Mountain Rockers or behind the turntables as a DJ. In addition to local record hops and the Walldorf Weekender, his DJ highlights recently included the Rockin' Bones Winterdance in Oberhausen, the Brandenburg Rock'n'Roll and Rockabilly Meeting, the Rock'n'Roll Weekender in St Gorgon (FR) and Rockers Rule in Udine (Italy). Heiko will once again be providing the sound for the Rust & Chrome Carshow.
As the singer of the Foggy Mountain Rockers, Heiko naturally has a busy schedule, but he has also been active as a DJ at the Walldorf Weekender for many years and not only inspires the Teds & Rockers. Thanks also to FMR for the loan/release!
