Susan Brown and her boys make their Walldorf debut as the pre-party warm-up act. The band has been dedicated to authentic rock'n'roll and rockabilly since it was founded in 2014.

In the style of Janis Martin and Wanda Jackson, the attractive and strong-voiced front woman Susan rocks to the rockabilly trio backing, which is partly made up of former members of the Blue Ribbon Four.

It is no coincidence that the four Rhine-Main Hepcats are a hot tip and can increasingly be seen at home and abroad.

The young Breton Yann Gourmelon aka Yann The CorupTed is the new Teddyboy sensation. With his unaffected Ted coolness, he breathes new life into this traditional style of life and music.

And that is precisely why his first 45s such as ‘We Are The Teds’ and ‘Chukka Boot Stomp’ are already scene classics and Yann is a much-booked act throughout Europe.

In Walldorf, Yann O'Fender will be accompanied by the universally popular and celebrated Town Rebels from Giessen. 

Let's Rock Tonight 

With a total of 27 albums and 11 singles, Darrel Higham is undoubtedly one of the busiest and most active rock'n'roll musicians in Europe. Darrel has not only caused a furore with the Enforcers as a first-class rockabilly band.

He accompanied many original 50s rockabilly artists such as Billy Lee Riley, Sonny Burgess and Alvis Wayne as a session musician. As a big Eddie Cochran fan, it was a special honour for Mr Higham to be hired as frontman by Eddie Cochran's last road band - The Kelly Four - in 1992. He has also worked with stars such as Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders), Jeff Beck (The Yardbirds) and Shakin' Stevens.

His ex-wife Imelda May, but also Paul Ansell, Graham Fenton and Robert Gordon have often been able to rely on his sharp strings. Darrel, endorsed by Gretsch Guitars and Peavey Amps, has been headlining major rockabilly festivals around the world for many years, and we are delighted that he and his Enforcers will be the main act in Walldorf on Friday evening. And because it doesn't get any better than this, Darrel and Cliff Edmonds will be performing a Gene & Eddie tribute show the following day.
